أعلن البنك المركزي العراقي، الخميس، عن رفع سعر الدينار العراقي مقابل الدولار بنسبة 3.4%، مؤكداً أن القرار من شأنه أن يؤثر على أسعار صرف الدينار أمام الدولار الأميركي في الأسواق العراقية .
Central Bank of Iraq, Thursday, for raising the price of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar by 3.4%, confirming that the decision would affect the exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar in the Iraqi market.



وقال نائب محافظ البنك المركزي مظهر محمد صالح في حديث لـ"السومرية نيوز"، إن "البنك عمل على رفع أسعار الدينار العراقي مقابل الدولار خلال جلساته لبيع وشراء العملات الأجنبية بواقع أربعة دنانير وبنسبة 3.4% لتصل إلى 1166 ديناراً أمام الدولار الواحد"، مبيناً أن "سعر الدينار الاسمي لا يتناسب مع القوة الشرائية له أو السعر الحقيقي لسعر الصرف الدينار مقابل الدولار".

وأضاف صالح أن "الحساب الجاري لمدفوعات العراق فيه فائض كبير نسبة إلى الناتج المحلي وبنسبة 5-8%"، مؤكداً أن "الفائض يعتبر مؤشر قوة وليس العكس إضافة إلى وجود الاحتياطيات الكبيرة للبنك".
Saleh added that "current account payments to Iraq, where a large surplus relative to GDP, a rate of 5-8%," stressing that "the surplus is a sign of strength and not vice versa as well as the existence of large reserves of the Bank."



وأشار صالح إلى أن "أسعار صرف الدولار في الأسواق العراقية التي شهدت في الآونة الأخيرة ارتفاعاً طفيفاً ستتأثر بقرار البنك المركزي العراقي"، معتبراً أن "الدينار العراقي سيكون جاذباً في الأسواق العراقية".
Saleh pointed out that "the dollar exchange rate in the Iraqi markets that recently experienced a slight increase will be affected by the decision of the Central Bank of Iraq," adding that "the Iraqi dinar will be attractive in the Iraqi market."



وكان البنك المركزي العراقي أعلن، اليوم الخميس، عن قيامه ببيع وشراء الدولار بسعر 1166 ديناراً خلال المزاد الذي يقيمه يومياً بمشاركة 23 مصرفاً، بعد أن كان يقوم ببيعه وشرائه بسعر 1170 ديناراً أمام الدولار الواحد.

فيما أعلن صالح في (6 كانون الثاني 2012) عن ارتفاع احتياطيات البنك المركزي العراقي من العملة الأجنبية إلى 60 مليار دولار، للمرة الأولى في تاريخ العراق، وفي حين أكد قدرته على كبح التضخم إذا ما وصل إلى مرتبتين عشريتين، اعتبر أن مستوياته الحالية لا تثير القلق.

وأسس البنك المركزي العراقي كمؤسسة مستقلة بموجب قانونه الصادر في السادس من آذار من العام 2004، كهيئة مستقلة وهو مسؤول عن الحفاظ على استقرار الأسعار وتنفيذ السياسة النقدية، بما في ذلك سياسات أسعار الصرف وإدارة الاحتياطيات الأجنبية وإصدار وإدارة العملة، إضافة إلى تنظيم القطاع المصرفي للنهوض بنظام مالي تنافسي ومستقل.

يشار إلى أن البنك المركزي العراقي يجري جلسات يومية لبيع وشراء العملات الأجنبية باستثناء العطل الرسمية التي يتوقف خلالها عن تلك المزادات.
